Made for the forest.

The idea behind Šuma was to combine our love for both streetwear & the planet.

With bold designs & innovative technology we are constantly looking to push the boundaries of sustainable fashion.

What does sustainability mean to us?

In recent years ‘sustainable’ has become a buzzword with fashion companies. We see fast fashion companies using this phrase as a way to negate the impact they are having on the environment and dupe consumers into shopping with them.

At Suma we have ensured every step of our process is made ethically with as little harm to the planet as possible. Producing extremely limited runs we want our clothes to last you a lifetime.

Our items are proudly made in Bangladesh from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton which uses less water than standard cotton and does not include the use of chemicals for production. Our suppliers work closely with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) and exhibit the best practices when it comes to the safety of their garment workers via factory visits and monthly reports to ensure that every person is being treated fairly.

All of our suppliers factories are installed with state-of-the art Effluent Treatment Plants which remove toxic elements from the water to ensure it’s safe to be reused.

In our London factory, we Use GOTS certified printing techniques. The ink used in our printing process is PETA certified vegan and 100% phthalate free. We use fairtrade and recycled goods wherever possible. All workflows in our printing factory are paperless to ensure as little waste as possible. Any remaining materials that need to be discarded are done so through accredited companies.

We want people to wear our clothes not just for a season but for a lifetime. That’s why our collections feature items that can be worn all year round, made with materials built to last

All of our clothes are tried and tested to make sure they meet the highest of standards before they are brought to the market.

We only stock a limited number of each item to ensure that we don’t overproduce, so that our range is as ethical as possible and also special to each customer.

We are constantly trying to think of new ways to make our brand unique and striving to continue our mission to combine streetwear & sustainability.
